Baker Sweeps Heart Weekly Golf Awards

Two members of the Baker University golf programs swept this week's Heart Men's and Women's Golfer of the Week awards, as Sam Brummett was selected the Heart Men's Golfer of the Week and Mia Tovkach earned the Heart Women's Golfer of the Week honor.

Brummett and Tovkach each competed at the Baker Invitational last week at Prairie Highlands Golf Course in Olathe, Kansas.

Tovkach placed second at the event with her rounds of 86 and 76, out of an event of 45 total golfers.

Brummett finished T-3, firing rounds of 74 and 74 in a field of 57 golfers. The Wildcat women't team placed second at the event as a team, while the men's squad finished fourth.
