Heart Golfers of the Week – April 11, 2022
The Heart of America Athletic Conference announced its Heart Men’s and Women’s Golfer of the Week awards on Monday, as William Penn University’s Sam Maceli earned the Heart Women’s Golfer of the Week award and Park University’s Guillermo Cervantes was selected the Heart Men’s Golfer of the Week.
The Heart of America Athletic Conference announced its Heart Men's and Women's Golfer of the Week awards on Monday, as William Penn University's Sam Maceli earned the Heart Women's Golfer of the Week award and Park University's Guillermo Cervantes was selected the Heart Men's Golfer of the Week.
Maceli also won this award back on September 27, 2021. This past week, she won the Navy and Gold Classic with her scores of 75 and 78, winning the event over a field of 31 total golfers.
Cervantes and the Pirates hosted the Park University Spring Classic last week and the sophomore finished T-2nd in a field of 54 golfers with his rounds of 72 and 73.
