William Penn Duo Sweep Heart Golfer of the Week Awards

Gabriana Franco and Spencer Tucker of William Penn University swept this week's Heart Golfer of the Week awards, announced by the conference office.

Franco was selected the Heart Women's Golfer of the Week after winning the Navy and Gold Classic last week.

The freshman shot a 78 in the first round and a 72 in round two to take home the individual crown and helped the Statesmen take home the team crown. She finished ahead of a field of 33 golfers.

Tucker also won the Navy and Gold Classic with his rounds of 69 and 65. This 65 tied the lowest 18-hole score in program history. The Statesmen also won the team championship in a field of 32 total golfers.
