Heart Announces First Golfer of the Week Awards of the 2023 Spring Season

In the first installment of the Heart of America Athletic Conference Men's and Women's Golfer of the Week awards of the 2023 spring season, Adam Gibson of Park University was selected the Heart Men's Golfer of the Week, while Paula Martin-Montero earned the Heart Women's Golfer of the Week.

Gibson shot the low score for the Pirates at the Ottawa Spring Invite last week, at Eagle Bend Golf Course.

The Freshman shot rounds of 73, 73 to place third overall out of 18 golfers. Park finished in second place out of 13 teams.

Martin-Montero won the Ottawa Spring Invite women's tournament with her rounds of 76 and 78, taking first out of 42 golfers. The Wildcats placed second overall as a team.
