Heart Golfers of the Week – April 24

The Heart of America Athletic Conference announced its Heart Men's and Women's Golfers of the Week on Monday.

Guillermo Cervantes of Park was selected the Heart Men's Golfer of the Week, while Kaitlin Hotchkiss of Mount Mercy earned the Heart Women's Golfer of the Week award.

Hotchkiss earned her first-ever individual title last week at the Storm Spring Classic. She shot a 74 in the first round and won the event over 33 total golfers.

Cervantes shot -4 for the tournament at the Raider Invitational. The junior tied the program record for lowest round in an 18-hole round with his 67. He placed second overall in a field of 72 golfers.
