Baker’s Mia Tovkach Earns Final Heart Women’s Golfer of the Week award of 2023

In the final installment of the Heart of America Athletic Conference Women’s Golfer of the Week award, Baker University’s Mia Tovkach earned the award.

In the final installment of the Heart of America Athletic Conference Women's Golfer of the Week award, Baker University's Mia Tovkach earned the award.

Tovkach won the 2023 Heart Women's Golf Individual Championship on May 2 at The Preserve on Rathbun Lake in Moravia, Iowa.

The senior fired rounds of 77, 81, 76 to tie Grand View's Brooke Boardman after 54 holes.

To crown an individual title, the championship came down to a one-hole playoff on the 18th hole and Mia birdied the hole, while Boardman earned a par, giving the Heart individual championship to Tovkach.
