Final Heart Golfer of the Week Awards of the Fall Season Announced

In the final edition of the Heart Golfer of the Week awards of the fall season, Grand View University's Jack Winkel was selected the Heart Men's Golfer of the Week, while Lucia Larruscain of Mount Mercy is the Heart Women's Golfer of the Week.

Winkel won the Heart Conference Championship Preview Tournament last week at The Preserve, the home of the 2024 Heart Men's Golf Championship.

The sophomore shot rounds of 72 and 66 to place first overall out of 55 golfers. The event featured a total of 10 teams.

Larruscain also won the Heart Conference Championship Preview Tournament in Moravia, Iowa.

The sophomore fired rounds of 78 and 73 to take home first place out of 58 golfers, in the event that featured 11 teams. Mount Mercy also took home the team title.
