First Heart Golfer of the Week Awards of 2024 Announced

The Heart of America Athletic Conference announced its first Heart Men's and Women's Golfer of the Week awards of the 2024 season on Monday.

Olivia Lange of William Penn University earned the Heart Women's Golfer of the Week, while Patrick Neal of MidAmerica Nazarene earned the Heart Men's Golfer of the Week.

Lange and the Statesmen competed at the FST Invitational last week and took home first-place in a field of 43 golfers.

The junior fired rounds of 78 and 78 to take home the medalist honors.

Neal and the Pioneers competed at the Crestview Springs Invite last week. The sophomore won the individual crown with rounds of 67, 69 and 73. He placed first ahead of 59 other competitors by 11 strokes.
