Final Heart Golfer of the Week Awards of 2024 Announced

The Heart of America Athletic Conference continued its spring Player of the Week honors on Monday, as the conference announced its final Heart Men's and Women's Golfer of the Week awards. 

Olivia Lange of William Penn earned her second-straight Heart Women's Golfer of the Week award, while Theo Baker of Mount Mercy captured the Heart Men's Golfer of the Week.

Lange placed first overall our of 27 golfers at the Statesmen Invitational. The junior shot a 75 in round one and then the tournament was cut to just nine holes in round two due to the weather and Lange shot a 34.

Baker led the Mustangs to a second-place finish at The Verhille Invite. The freshman finished T-2 out of 72 total golfers with his rounds of 75 and 72.
