Frankfurth, Reed Earn Second Heart Women’s Lacrosse Player of the Week Honors

For the second time this season, both Courtney Frankfurth of No. 1 ranked Benedictine College and Madison Reed of William Penn University earned the Heart Women's Lacrosse Player of the Week awards.

Frankfurth was selected the Heart Offensive Player of the Week, while Reed earned the Heart Defensive Player of the Week.

The Ramsey, Minnesota product had 10 goals on the week for the Ravens, five in the 21-3 win over Midland (Neb.) and five in the 13-12 loss to Missouri Baptist. She also added an assist against Midland.

Reed and the Statesmen went 2-0 last week with a win over Northwestern (Minn.), 16-15 and an 18-3 win over the University of St. Mary.

She had 17 saves against Northwestern and 11 against USM.
