No. 8 Benedictine Sweeps Heart Women’s Lacrosse Weekly Awards

The No. 8 nationally ranked Benedictine College women's lacrosse program swept this week's Heart Women's Lacrosse Offensive and Defensive Player of the Week awards, announced on Monday.

Courtney Frankfurth was selected the Heart Offensive Player of the Week, while teammate Kaylen Moore earned the Heart Defensive Player of the Week.

This marks the third Heart Player of the Week award of 2023 for Frankfurth. This past week, the Ravens defeated (RV) St. Ambrose, 22-6, and followed that up with another Heart win over Clarke, 20-6.

Frankfurth scored four goals against the Fighting Bees and five against Clarke. She also had five assists in the win over SAU and one against Clarke. The Ravens are now a perfect, 3-0, in Heart play.

Moore has also won the Heart Defensive Player of the Week three times in 2023. Moore led BC in draw controls with 21 on the week. She also scored nine goals and had two assists.
