Final Heart Women’s Lacrosse Player of the Week Awards of 2023 Announced

In the final installment of the Heart of America Athletic Conference Women's Lacrosse Player of the Week awards, Kaylen Moore of No. 8 ranked Benedictine College earned her fifth Heart Defensive Player of the Week of 2023, while Maddie Wiltrout of St. Ambrose was selected the Heart Offensive Player of the Week.

Moore has now won three Heart Defensive Player of the Week awards in a row. Last week, she helped lead the Ravens to their first-ever Heart regular season championship after a 19-4 home win over William Penn. 

In the victory, the freshman caused two turnovers and had 10 draw controls and five ground balls. She also scored five goals and registered an assist.

Wiltrout and the Fighting Bees defeated Culver-Stockton, 17-6, and earned the No. 2 seed in the upcoming Heart Women's Lacrosse Conference Tournament.

She scored seven goals and had an assist in the victory. She also won five draws and collected three gound balls.
