Allen, Russell Earn Heart Women’s Lacrosse Weekly Awards in Back-to-Back Weeks

Chanterra Allen and Kiera Russell of No. 9 ranked Benedictine College earned the Heart of America Athletic Conference women's lacrosse weekly awards for the second-straight week, announced on Monday.

Allen was selected the Heart Offensive Player of the Week for the second-straight week, while teammate Kiera Russell earned the Heart Defensive Player of the Week award for the second-straight week as well.

Allen and the Ravens took on No. 3 Cumberlands (Ky.), No. 6 Life (Ga.) and No. 2 Reinhardt (Ga.) last week and the sophomore scored a total of 12 goals and registered three assists.

Russell helped the Ravens of both sides of the field, as she collected 12 total ground balls and scored six total goals.
