Two First Time Winners in 2024 Highlight Heart Women’s Lacrosse Weekly Awards

The Heart of America Athletic Conference announced its Heart Women's Lacrosse Player of the Week awards on Monday afternoon.

Lauren Hoesly of (RV) St. Ambrose and Kaylen Moore of No. 10 Benedictine were selected the Heart Offensive and Defensive Players of the Week respectively.

Hoesly and the Fighting Bees picked up a Heart road win at Mount Mercy on Saturday, 22-7.

Hoesly, who is the all-time points leader for the program, scored five goals and had four assists in the win. 

Moore and the Ravens shutout UHSP last week in a 24-0 victory. The sophomore led the Ravens on each side of the field and scored six goals and registered three assists. 

Both Benedictine and St. Ambrose are tied at the top of the Heart standings at 2-0.
