2024 Heart Women's Lacrosse All-Conference Teams Announced

The Heart of America Athletic Conference announced its Heart Women's Lacrosse All-Conference teams and postseason award winners, on Wednesday afternoon.

The award winners feature players from across the conference and are listed as First Team or Second Team in their respective positions.

The individual awards and All-Conference teams were selected by the Heart women's lacrosse head coaches.

Below please find the list of 2024 individual major award winners:

2024 Heart Women's Lacrosse Player of the Year - Kaylen Moore- Benedictine College

This marks the second-straight Heart Player of the Year award for Moore, as she also won the award in 2023. The sophomore has been a stellar player for the Ravens on both sides of the field, as she scored 38 goals and recorded 13 assists this season. Defensively she collected 24 ground balls and 91 draw controls, which led the conference. She also won the last three Heart Defensive Player of the Week awards of the regular season.

2024 Heart Women's Lacrosse Offensive Player of the Year – Chanterra Allen – Benedictine College

Allen was selected the Heart Offensive Player of the Week four times in 2024. The sophomore scored 76 goals this season along with 23 assists. The Lee's Summit, Mo., native scored her 76 goals on 121 shots and had a shot on-goal percentage of 88.4.

2024 Heart Women's Lacrosse Defensive Player of the Year – Anaya Lopez Culver-Stockton College

Lopez helped lead the Wildcats to a 3-2 regular season record, to earn the No. 3 seed in this week's Heart Conference Tournament. The senior was near the top of the Heart in caused turnovers this season with 22 and collected 42 ground balls in the regular season.

2024 Heart Women's Lacrosse Newcomer of the Year – Abby Vanderwarren St. Ambrose University

Freshman Vanderwarren scored seven goals on just nine shots on goal attempts, for a shots on goal percentage of 90-percent. She also collected 10 ground balls, helping lead the

2024 Heart Women's Lacrosse Freshman of the Year – Kaelin Quarles Culver-Stockton College

Quarles had a terrific season for the Wildcats with her 43 goals and 13 assists and attempted 77 shots.

2024 Heart Women's Lacrosse Assistant Coach of the Year –Madison Reed – Culver-Stockton College

Coach Reed and the Wildcats ended the regular season winning four of their last six games and earned their highest seed in the Heart Conference Tournament in program history.

2024 Heart Women's Lacrosse Coach of the Year Angelia Blythe – Mount Mercy

This marked the first year in program history for Mount Mercy University, with Coach Blythe leading the way for the women's lacrosse program.
