
Heart of America Athletic Conference Welcomes Four New Women's Lacrosse Associate Members beginning in 2024-25 Season
The Heart of America Athletic Conference proudly announces the addition of four new associate members for Women's Lacrosse beginning in the 2024-25 season. University of Health Sciences and Pharmacy (UHSP), Midland University (Neb.), Missouri Baptist University (Mo.) and Ottawa University (Kan.) join the conference, expanding the competitiveness and opportunities within women's lacrosse in the Heart.
The Heart of America Athletic Conference proudly announces the addition of four new associate members for Women's Lacrosse beginning in the 2024-25 season. University of Health Sciences and Pharmacy (UHSP), Midland University (Neb.), Missouri Baptist University (Mo.) and Ottawa University (Kan.) join the conference, expanding the competitiveness and opportunities within women's lacrosse in the Heart.
The inclusion the four new schools enriches the conference's Women's Lacrosse membership, bringing the total number of members to ten:
- Benedictine College (Kan.)
- Culver-Stockton College (Mo.)
- Midland University (Neb.)
- Missouri Baptist University (Mo.)
- Missouri Valley College (Mo.)
- Mount Mercy University (Iowa)
- Ottawa University (Kan.)
- St. Ambrose University (Iowa)
- University of Health Sciences and Pharmacy (UHSP) (Mo.)
- William Penn University (Iowa)
"The inclusion of UHSP, Ottawa, Missouri Baptist and Midland into Women's Lacrosse within the conference underscores our ongoing efforts to provide a stable and competitive environment for all conference members. We are committed to supporting the growth and success of all our member institutions and the sport, and we believe that the addition of these programs will contribute to a vibrant and stable regional landscape in the sport for years to come," said Commissioner Nik Rule.
In April, Missouri Baptist University was accepted as a full member of the conference starting in 2025-26.
