
Hancock Named Heart Defensive Player of the Week in Back-to-Back Week’s, Castanon Selected Offensive Player of the Week
For the second-straight week, Evangel University’s Chloe Hancock earned the Heart Women’s Soccer Defensive Player of the Week honor, while Clarke University’s Reese Castanon was named the Heart Offensive Player of the Week, announced by the conference office on Monday.

Hancock had an impressive 14 saves in the Valor's loss to Missouri Baptist and then shut out the University of St. Mary, 3-0, collecting two saves in the victory.
The Hesperia, California native currently leads the Heart in saves and is third in the NAIA with 39.
Castanon was key to the Pride's two matches last week, as she assisted on the team's first goal against Trinity Christian and then scored the game-tying goal with just under 1:30 to in the contest, the Pride would eventually tie Trinity Christian, 2-2.
Then on September 4, the Hemet, California product scored two goals against Iowa Wesleyan, in a 3-1 victory.
