Peru State’s Jibril Harris Selected Heart Player of the Week

After leading his team to two Heart victories last week, Peru State College's Jibril Harris has been selected the Heart of America Athletic Conference Men's Basketball Player of the Week, announced on Monday. 

Harris and the Bobcats defeated Culver-Stockton, 87-77, on November 30 and Missouri Valley, 94-85, on December 3.

The senior forward had a double-double against Culver-Stockton with 16 points and 12 rebounds, he followed that up with 25 points and eight rebounds against Missouri Valley.

For the week, he averaged 20.5 points and 10 rebounds per game and shot, 55.6-percent from the floor and 57.1-percent from three-point range.

Peru State is 7-2 overall and 2-1 in conference play.
