No. 1 Ranked Mia Palumbo Earns Second Heart Women’s Wrestler of the Week

For the second time this season, No. 1 nationally ranked 109-pound wrestler Mia Palumbo of William Penn University was selected the Heart Women's Wrestler of the Week announced by the conference on Monday.

The junior improved to 12-0 on the season with a 4-0 record at the Doane Invitational. The Oak Lawn, Illinois native earned a Tech Fall victory in all four of her matches to earn the 109-pound title at the Doane Invitational, including a 14-2 Tech Fall win over nationally ranked Alexsys Jacquez of the University of St. Mary in the final round.
