Heart Women’s Soccer Players of the Week, presented by WinWon Announced

For the first time in the 2024 season, the Heart of America Athletic Conference is pleased to announce the Heart Women's Soccer Players of the Week, presented by WinWon.

Baker University's Emma Schieber was selected the Heart Offensive Player of the Week, while Fiona Popetschnig of MidAmerica Nazarene earned the Heart Defensive Player of the Week honor.

Schieber recorded an impressive hat trick in a 7-2 win over McPherson on August 21, as the senior scored three goals in a five-minute stretch. She also recorded an assist in the game.

Popetschnig and the Pioneers picked up a huge early season win on August 20 with a 1-0 shutout over No. 7  John Brown (Ark.). The Pioneers also defeated Dordt (Iowa), 3-1, on August 24.
