Heart Women’s Soccer Players of the Week, presented by WinWon Announced – September 23

The Heart of America Athletic Conference is pleased to announce the Heart Women's Soccer Players of the Week, presented by WinWon, for the fifth week of the 2024 season.

Thayline Teixeira of No. 18 ranked MidAmerica Nazarene University was selected the Heart Offensive Player of the Week, while Faith Krapfl of Clarke University earned the Heart Defensive Player of the Week award.

Teixeira scored three goals and recorded two assists for the week for the Pioneers. In a 9-0 victory over Baker, the junior scored two goals and had an assist and in a 2-2 tie against William Penn, she scored one goal.

Krapfl and the Pride went 1-0-1 last week with a 5-0 win over William Penn and a scoreless draw against No. 23 Missouri Valley.

The junior goalkeeper earned both shutouts with three saves against WPU and eight against Missouri Valley.
