No. 20 Missouri Valley College Sweeps Heart Women’s Soccer Player of the Week Awards, presented by WinWon

The Heart of America Athletic Conference announced the Women's Soccer Player of the Week awards, presented by WinWon on Monday afternoon.

No. 20 nationally ranked Missouri Valley College swept the awards, as Marlene Flores was selected the Offensive Player of the Week, while Marina Barbara Bujalance earned the Heart Defensive Player of the Week for the second-straight week.

The Vikings had a solid week last week, defeating Benedictine 3-0 and then defeating Grand View, 3-1, to move to 7-0-1 in the Heart and 10-3-1 overall.

The junior scored two goals in each game for the Vikings, her four goals came on just nine total shots.
