
CMU Sweeps First Heart Women’s Indoor Track & Field Weekly Awards
In the first installment of the Heart of America Athletic Conference Women’s Indoor Track & Field weekly awards, Central Methodist swept the two honors, as Kailey Johnson was named the Heart Indoor Track Athlete of the Week, while teammate Kaitlyn Weber earned the Heart Indoor Track Field Athlete of the Week honor.
In the first installment of the Heart of America Athletic Conference Women's Indoor Track & Field weekly awards, Central Methodist swept the two honors, as Kailey Johnson was named the Heart Indoor Track Athlete of the Week, while teammate Kaitlyn Weber earned the Heart Indoor Track Field Athlete of the Week honor.
Johnson, earned two first-place finishes at the Friends Invitational, with a first-place time of 7.88 in the 60-meter dash and helped lead the 4x400m relay team to a first-place victory with a time of 4:13.19.
Weber, won the women's long jump with a mark of 5.14m to place first out of 11 competitors and took home fourth in the triple jump with a mark of 10.61m.
