Montenegro, Lotz Selected Heart Women’s Indoor Track & Field Athletes of the Week

Dayana Montenegro of Central Methodist University and Victoria Lotz of MidAmerica Nazarene University have been selected the Heart Women's Indoor Track & Field Athletes of the Week, announced on Monday.
Montenegro placed second overall out of 53 competitors in the women's 400m dash with a time of 58.61 at the Concordia Polar Dog Invite.
The junior hit the NAIA 'B' Standard of qualification for the NAIA Indoor Track & Field National Championships. She also placed 1st in the women's 200m dash with a time of 25.93.
Lotz and the Pioneers competed at the NAIA/JUCO Challenge and the junior placed first in the weight throw and shot put.
The Spring Hill, Kansas product won the weight throw with a toss of 17.18m and the shot put with a mark of 12.94m.
