Benedictine College Secures 2024 Heart Women’s Indoor Track & Field Conference Championship

The Benedictine College Ravens captured the 2024 Heart Women's Indoor Track & Field Conference Championship on Saturday at Hughes Fieldhouse on the campus of Northwest Missouri State University in Maryville, Mo.

The Ravens finished with 182.5 points, while MidAmerica Nazarene placed second with 161 points and Central Methodist placed third with 154 points.

This marks the first Heart Women's Indoor Track & Field Conference Championship for the Ravens since 2016.

The CMU Eagles had won the last two Heart titles in 2022 and 2023.

Renee Finke of Central Methodist scored the most points of any female athlete on Saturday with 28.

She won the women's pentathlon with 3,591 points, as well as the high jump with a mark of 1.71m, she then placed second in the 60m hurdles with a time of 8.89.

The Heart will announce the 2024 Coach of the Year, Assistant Coach of the Year, Track Athlete of the Meet and Field Athlete of the Meet on Monday, February 19.

The top three finishers in each event were be considered 2024 Heart Indoor Track & Field All-Conference athletes. 1^st Place = First Team All-Conference, 2^nd Place = Second Team All-Conference, 3^rd Place = Third Team All-Conference, and fourth, fifth and sixth place finishers in each event will be considered 2024 Heart Indoor Track & Field Honorable Mention All-Conference.
