Central Methodist Sweeps WinWon Women’s Outdoor Track & Field Athletes of the Week

The Heart of America Athletic Conference announced its WinWon Women's Outdoor Track Field Athletes of the Week on Monday afternoon, as Central Methodist University swepts the awards.

Dayana Montenegro captured the WinWon Women's Outdoor Track Athlete of the Week, while teammate Renee Finke earned the WinWon Women's Outdoor Field Athlete of the Week award.

Montenegro won the women's 400m dash at the Miner Invitational hosted by Missouri S&T with a time of 56.80. She also hit the NAIA 'B' Standard of qualification for the NAIA National Championships in May.

Finke won both the high jump and the 100m hurdles at the Miner Invitational. She won the high jump with a jump of 1.68m and the 100m hurdles in a time of 14.68.

She hit the NAIA 'A' Standard of qualification for the NAIA National Championships in the high jump.
