Delaney Straus, Madison Green Selected WinWon Women’s Outdoor Track & Field Athletes of the Week

The Heart of America Athletic Conference announced its WinWon Women's Outdoor Track & Field Athlete of the Week awards on Monday.

Delaney Strauss of Culver-Stockton College was selected the WinWon Outdoor Track Athlete of the Week, while Grand View's Madison Green earned the WinWon Outdoor Field Athlete of the Week.

Straus won the heptathlon at the CMU Invitational last week with a school record 4,158 points earned. 

That point total currently ranks No. 4 in the NAIA.

Green won two events at the CMU Invitational, the women's discus and the hammer throw.

The senior won the discus with a toss of 44.88m, that mark hit the NAIA 'A' standard of qualification for the NAIA National Championships. She also hit the NAIA 'A' standard in the hammer throw with her throw of 50.84m.
