WinWon Women’s Outdoor Track & Field Athletes of the Week Announced

The Heart of America Athletic Conference is pleased to announce this week's WinWon Women's Outdoor Track & Field Athletes of the Week.

Madison Green of Grand View earned her second-straight WinWon Women's Outdoor Field Athlete of the Week honor, while Abigaille Batu-Tiako was selected the Women's Outdoor Track Athlete of the Week.

Batu-Tiako had a busy meet at the Mount Mercy Distance Carnival, as the senior placed second in the 100-meter dash in a time of 12.25, she also took second in the 4x100m relay with a time of 49.06 and placed first in the long jump with a mark of 5.67m.

Green hit the NAIA 'A' Standard of qualification for the NAIA National Championship in two events at the Jim Duncan Invitational last week.

The senior placed third in the discus with her toss of 44.78m and took home fourth in the hammer throw with a throw of 50.73m.
