Terpstra, Beard Selected WinWon Women’s Outdoor Track & Field Athletes of the Week

The Heart of America Athletic Conference continued its spring Player of the Week honors on Monday, as the conference announced its final WinWon Women's Outdoor Track & Field Athlete  the Week awards. 

Addisyn Terpstra of Grand View was selected the WinWon Women's Outdoor Track Athlete of the Week, while Baylee Beard of Central Methodist earned the Women's Outdoor Field Athlete of the Week award.

Beard and the Eagles traveled to the Culver-Stockton College Invite last Saturday, the sophomore won both of the shot put and hammer throw events. She earned a first-place finish in the hammer throw with a mark of 54.92m and won the shot put with a toss of 13.12m.

Terpstra won the 100m hurdles in a time of 14.55 at the DeBacker Invitational and hit the NAIA 'A' Standard of qualification for the NAIA National Championships.
