Final WinWon Women’s Outdoor Track & Field Athletes of the Week of 2024 Announced

The Heart of America Athletic Conference announced the final WinWon Women's Outdoor Track & Field Athlete of the Week awards of the 2024 season on Monday afternoon.

Delaney Straus of Culver-Stockton College was named the Women's Outdoor Track Athlete of the Week, while Erica Martin of William Penn was selected the Women's Outdoor Field Athlete of the Week.

Straus competed at the Drake Relays in the Heptathlon. The sophomore placed 8^th overall with 4,358 total points. She is ranked No. 12 in the NAIA and No. 2 in the Heart.

Martin and the Statesmen competed at the Simpson Kip Janvrin Open. The senior won the shot put with a toss of 13.35m. She bested 18 total athletes and her mark hit the NAIA 'B' Standard of qualification for the NAIA National Championships.
