
2025 Heart Women's Indoor Track & Field Men's Postseason Awards Announced
The Heart of America Athletic Conference announced its 2025 Heart Women's Indoor Track & Field Postseason Awards on Monday afternoon.
Each award was voted upon by the Heart Track & Field head coaches and are based on results from the Heart Indoor Track & Field Conference Championships held last weekend on the campus of Northwest Missouri State University.
2025 Heart Women's Indoor Track & Field Coach of the Year - Kenny Anderson, Central Methodist
For the third time in the last four years, the Central Methodist Eagles won the Heart Women's Indoor Track & Field Conference Championship. At the 2025 championship, the Eagles earned and impressive 209 points, 47 points ahead of second place Benedicitine.
2025 Heart Women's Indoor Track & Field Co-Assistant Coach of the Year - Kailey Johnson, Central Methodist
CMU earned six first-place finishes at the conference championship, including Renee Finke in the women's 60m hurdles, Joana Vakasobuduru in the women's 200m, Dayana Montenegro in the women's 400m, Montenegro again in the women's 600m, Haley Bellamy in the high jump and they won the women's 4x400m relay.
2025 Heart Women's Indoor Track & Field Co-Assistant Coach of the Year - Jacob Cofer, Benedictine
The Ravens placed second overall as a team last Saturday at the Heart Championships and earned a first-place finish in the 3,000m race walk, as well as first in the 4x800m relay and the women's distance medley relay.
2025 Heart Women's Indoor Track & Field - Track Athlete of the Meet - Dayana Montenegro, Central Methodist
Montenegro earned the most points of any female athlete at the 2025 Heart Indoor Championships with 30.5 points. She won the women's 400m in a time of 56.16, the women's 600m in 1:33.43, took second in the women's 200m in a time of 25.09 and placed first with her teammates in the women's 4x400m relay in 3:51.32.
2025 Heart Women's Indoor Track & Field - Field Athlete of the Meet - Victoria Lotz, MidAmerica Nazarene
Lotz won both the women's shot put with a toss of 13.80m and the women's weight throw with a mark of 19.59m. She ranks No. 1 in the NAIA in the weight throw with that mark.
