Nail, Scott Earn Heart Women’s Outdoor Track & Field Weekly Honors

The Heart of America Athletic Conference Announced its Heart Women's Outdoor Track & Field Athlete of the Week honors on Monday afternoon.

Tre'breh Scott of Central Methodist was named the Heart Outdoor Track Athlete of the Week, while Bre Nail of Mount Mercy earned the Heart Outdoor Field Athlete of the Week.

Scott competed at the Lincoln University Open on Saturday and broke the school record in the 100m hurdles with her time of 13.81.

She finished in second place and hit the NAIA 'A' Standard for qualification. The junior currently has the second fastest time in the 100m hurdles in the NAIA.

Nail and the Mustangs competed at the Rittgers Invitational on Friday and she competed in three events, the shot put, discus and hammer.

The junior placed first in the shot put with a mark of 13.46m and hit the NAIA 'B' Standard. She then placed third in the discus with a mark of 37.15m and third in the hammer with a toss of 39.89m.
