
MNU Sweeps Heart Women’s Volleyball Player of the Week Honors
After defeating No. 10 nationally ranked Park and No. 16 Central Methodist, as well as a sweep of Missouri Valley, (RV) MidAmerica Nazarene swept this week’s Heart Women’s Volleyball Player of the Week awards.

Lucie Maceckova was named the Heart Attacker of the Week, and for the second-straight week Katrina Davis earned the Heart Setter of the Week, while teammate Savannah Crossland garnered the Heart Defender of the Week.
Maceckova and the Pioneers defeated Park, 3-0, Central Methodist, 3-1 and Missouri Valley, 3-0.
The junior outside hitter, averaged 4.10 kills per set on the week and recorded 41 total kills in the three matches. She also had 32 digs, averaging 3.20 digs per set.
Davis averaged 12.7 assists per set, with 40 assists against Park, 54 against CMU and 33 in the win over Missouri Valley. The sophomore also had five kills and 24 digs. She averaged 2.40 digs per set.
Crossland recorded 73 digs on the week, and averaged an impressive 7.30 digs per set. She had 20 or more digs in all three of the Pioneers' matches, 25 against Park, 27 against CMU and 21 in the win over the Vikings.
MNU is now a perfect 17-0 overall and 10-0 in Heart play.
