No. 10 MNU, No. 13 Park and No. 19 CMU To Host NAIA Opening Round Matches on Saturday
The Heart of America Athletic Conference will be represented by three nationally ranked teams in the upcoming NAIA Women's Volleyball National Championship Opening Round this Saturday, November 19.
2022 Heart Conference Tournament Champion and Co-Regular Season Champion, No. 10 nationally ranked MidAmerica Nazarene will host Blue Mountain Christian (Miss.) on Saturday at 6 pm.
This is the seventh appearance at NAIA Nationals for the Pioneers, with their last coming in 2020. MNU enters the event 28-1.
2022 Heart Regular Season Co-Champion and Conference Tournament Runner-Up, No. 13 ranked Park University will make its 10th appearance in the NAIA Opening Round this Saturday.
The Pirates are two-time NAIA National Champions, as they won the title in 2014 and 2018 and finished as the NAIA National Runner-Up last season.
Park will host Cumberland (Tenn.) on Saturday at 1 pm in Parkville, Mo. The Pirates are 26-5 overall on the season.
No. 19 ranked Central Methodist has qualified for its fifth NAIA Opening Round on Saturday. The Eagles will host (RV) St. Xavier (Ill.) at 11 am on Saturday.
CMU enters the event 21-8 overall and has won six of its last seven matches.
