No. 8 ranked Park Sweeps Molten Women’s Volleyball Player of the Week Awards

The Heart of America Athletic Conference announced on Monday, that the No. 8 nationally ranked Park University women's volleyball program swept this week's Molten Women's Volleyball Player of the Week awards.

Izabella Ceratti earned the Molten Attacker of the Week, while Arianna Marino is the Molten Setter of the Week and Debora Bernardi earned the Molten Defender of the Week.

Marino and the Pirates earned three sweeps last week over Heart opponents, Benedictine, Grand View and William Penn.

The freshman averaged 12.33 assists per set, tallying 111 total assists, with 41 coming in the win over Grand View. She also added six blocks, seven kills and 14 digs on the week.

Bernardi had 15 total blocks in those three matches and had nine block assists against William Penn. The junior also had 29 total kills and averaged 3.22 kills per set.

Ceratti had double-digit kills in all three Park victories, including 15 against William Penn. She posted a hitting percentage of .682 in that match, as she had zero attack errors.

The junior had 3.89 kills per set on the week and 11 total digs.
