Molten Women’s Volleyball Players of the Week Announced – October 16

The Heart of America Athletic Conference announced its Molten Women's Volleyball Players of the Week on Monday.

No. 8 Park University features the Conference Setter of the Week for the third time this season in Arianna Marino and Grecia Ung earned her first Conference Attacker of the Week of 2023. Rylie Mussman of Mount Mercy was selected the Heart Defender of the Week.

Marino has now won two-straight Heart Setter of the Week honors and also won back on September 11.

This past week, she and the Pirates went 6-0 including a 3-1 victory over No. 7 nationally ranked Missouri Baptist and a Heart win over MidAmerica Nazarene, 3-1.

In those six matches, the freshman averaged 10.62 assists per match. She impressively dished out 223 assists on the week and averaged 2.57 digs per set.

Fellow Pirate, Ung posted double-digit kills in four of the five matches and averaged 3.22 kills per set. She also averaged 2.72 digs per set and added six service aces.

Mussman and the Mustangs went 2-1 last week, the junior had 20 or more digs in all three matches, averaging 6.58 digs per set. She also had 15 total assists.
