Arreola, Ceratti, Davis Capture Heart Women’s Volleyball Players of the Week, presented by Molten Announced

As the non-conference season continues, the Heart of America Athletic Conference is pleased to announce the Heart Women's Volleyball Players of the Week, presented by Molten. 

Izabella Ceratti of No. 8 ranked Park University earned this week's Heart Attacker of the Week honor, while Katrina Davis of MidAmerica Nazarene was named the Heart Setter of the Week and Evelyn Arreola of (RV) Benedictine was selected the Heart Defender of the Week.

Davis and the Pioneers went 3-1 last week with four-set wins over Campbellsville (Ky.), Loyola (La.) and Xavier (La.).

In those four matches, the senior averaged 10.4 assists per set with a total of 167 assists. She also had 15 total kills.

Ceratti and the Pirates traveled to Florida last week and posted a 2-1 record. In three matches, the senior averaged 4.22 kills per set with 38 total kills. For the week, she hit .459.

Arreola and the Ravens also went 3-1 last week with wins over Dordt (Iowa), Dakota State (S.D.) and Dakota Wesleyan (S.D.).

The senior collected 81 total digs on the week, including and impressive 34 in the win over Dakota State, averaging 8.50 digs per set in that victory.
