Fourth Edition of Heart Women’s Volleyball Players of the Week, Presented by Molten Announced

The fourth edition of the Heart of America Athletic Conference, Heart Women's Volleyball Players of the Week, presented by Molten were announced on Monday afternoon.

Grecia Ung of No. 14 ranked Park University was named the Heart Attacker of the Week, while Hailey Hested of Mount Mercy earned the Heart Setter of the Week and Kyla Ellis of Culver-Stockton earned the Heart Defender of the Week.

Ung and the Pirates faced two Top 15 teams last week in three matches, going 2-1 overall. In those three matches, Ung averaged 4.55 kills per set with a total of 50 kills. She also had nine service aces and a career-high 23 digs against No.8 Bellevue (Neb.).

Hested recorded 165 assists in four matches last week including 55 against Judson (Ill.). The senior averaged 10.31 assists per set.

Eliis and the Culver-Stockton Wildcats went a perfect 5-0 last week. In those five matches, the senior totaled 119 digs, averaging 6.26 digs per set.
