Heart Women’s Volleyball Players of the Week, presented by Molten for Week Six Announced

The Heart of America Athletic Conference is pleased to announce the Heart Women's Volleyball Players of the Week, presented by Molten.

After another exciting week of action across the conference, the Heart is pleased to announce this week's Heart Women's Volleyball Players of the Week, presented by Molten.

Maya Watters of Clarke University garnered the Heart Attacker of the Week honor for the Pride, while Haley Cahill of (RV) Benedictine was selected the Heart Setter of the Week and Emily Mathis of MidAmerica Nazarene earned the Heart Defender of the Week.

Watters collected 24 kills in Clarke's five-set win over Graceland, which was the second-most kills in a match in program history. For the week, the sophomore had 52 total kills, averaging 4.33 kills per set.

Cahill averaged 11.5 assists per set for the Ravens in their 3-1 win over MidAmerica Nazarene. The senior had 46 assists in that match and in a five-set win over Baker, Cahill again had 46 assists.

Mathis averaged 5.5 digs per set in three Heart matches last week. The freshman had 60 total digs, including 28 in a four-set tough
