MidAmerica Nazarene Sweeps Heart Women’s Volleyball Player of the Week Awards, presented by Molten

The Heart of America Athletic Conference announced its Heart Women's Volleyball Players of the Week, presented by Molten on Monday.

MidAmerica Nazarene University swept all three awards on Monday, as Mia Olson was selected the Heart Attacker of the Week, Katrina Davis earned the Heart Setter of the Week award and teammate Emily Mathis was named the Heart Defender of the Week.

The Pioneers had an excellent week last week, defeating (RV) Park in three sets and defeating Missouri Valley in four sets, 3-1.

Olson had 13 kills in the win over Missouri Valley and 14 against Park. The sophomore averaged 3.86 kills per set and hit .462 on the week.

Davis supplied the MNU offense with 101 total assists in those two victories, averaging 14.4 assists per set and 2.4 digs per set.

Mathis had 39 digs in the win over Missouri Valley and for the week, the freshman averaged 7.14 digs per set.
