
Heart Announces 2024 Women’s Volleyball All-Conference Teams
The Heart of America Athletic Conference announced its 2024 Heart Women’s Volleyball 1st, 2nd and 3rd Team All-Conference teams, as well as Honorable Mention All-Conference award winners, presented by Baron, as well as postseason awards on Tuesday afternoon.

The All-Conference teams and postseason award winners were voted on by the 13 Heart head women's volleyball coaches.
2024 Heart Player and Setter of the Year – Katrina Davis – MidAmerica Nazarene University
Davis led the Pioneers all the way to the 2024 Heart Conference Tournament Championship game and was a terrific leader on the floor, averaging 10.68 assists per set and 2.61 digs per set. For the season, the senior supplied MNU with 1,314 assists.
2024 Heart Attacker of the Year – Winny Harris – Benedictine College
Harris and the Ravens made history in 2024, as they won their first-ever Heart Women's Volleyball Conference Tournament Championship, with a thrilling, five-set win over MNU. For the year, Harris played a terrific middle hitter position for BC and averaged 2.36 kills per set and posted a .312 hitting percentage.
2024 Heart Coach of the Year – Victoria Hurtt – Benedictine College
Coach Hurtt and the Ravens enter the postseason with an overall record of 25-7. This marks the second time in program history the Ravens have qualified for the NAIA National Tournament. The other time was last season, again under the leadership of Hurtt.
2024 Heart Defender of the Year – Rylie Mussman – Mount Mercy University
In her senior year, Mussman averaged 6.11 digs per set with a total of 782 digs.
2024 Heart Freshman of the Year – Aby Widhalm – Baker University
In her first year with the Wildcats, Widhalm averaged 3.28 kills per set and 2.50 digs per set. For the year, she posted a hitting percentage of .229.
2024 Heart Freshman of the Year – Dustin Kaonohialii Carrier
The CMU Eagles won the Heart regular season championship with a record of 14-3 and earned an automatic berth to the NAIA National Touramaent, under the director of assistant coach Carrier and head coach Coleman Lee.
