Adaugo Nwachukwu Captures First Heart Women’s Wrestler of the Week of the Season

No. 1 nationally ranked 136-pound wrestler Adaugo Nwachukwu of William Penn University was selected the first Heart of America Athletic Conference Women's Wrestler of the Week of the 2023-24 season, announced on Monday.

Nwachukwu wrestled up in the 143-pound weight class at the Waldorf Open on Saturday. The junior went 4-0 overall with four tech fall victories and outscored all four opponents, 43-0, to win the 143-pound title.
