2024 Heart Women's Wrestling Conference Championship
The 2024 Heart of America Athletic Conference Women's Wrestling Championship will take place this Saturday, February 24 on the campus of William Penn University inside the Penn Activity Center.
The championship will begin at 9 am and tickets for the event are $10 per person and $6 for children 12 and under. All tickets much be purchased online, by clicking HERE.
The following teams will be competing and feature some of the top wrestlers across the NAIA, No. 15 Baker, (RV) Central Methodist, (RV) Dickinson State, No. 3 Grand View, No. 13 Missouri Valley, (RV) Waldorf, No. 8 William Penn and William Woods.
This marks the fourth annual Heart Women's Wrestling Championship, as Grand View won the first three in 2021, 2022 and 2023.
The conference will hand out some hardware on Saturday after the championship bouts have completed.
The following awards will be awarded: 2024 Heart Coach of the Year, 2024 Heart Assistant Coach of the Year, 2024 Heart Wrestler of the Year, 2024 Heart Conference Tournament Outstanding Wrestler, 2024 Heart Newcomer of the Year and 2024 Heart Freshman of the Year.
On Monday, Feb. 26, the conference will announce the 2023 Heart Women's Wrestling individual award winners on its website. The All-Conference teams will be released on that date as well.
The 2024 Heart Women's Wrestling All-Conference team is based on results in each weight class from the Heart Conference Championship, a 1st Place finish = First Team All-Conference, 2nd Place = Second Team All-Conference and 3rd Place finish = Third Team All-Conference.
