No. 10 ranked Ashley Whetzal Selected Final Heart Women's Wrestler of the Week of 2025

The Heart of America Athletic Conference announced its final Heart Women's Wrestler of the Week of the 2025 season, presented by Musco on Monday afternoon. 

No. 10 individual nationally ranked 131-pound wrestler, Ashley Whetzal of No. 8 nationally Missouri Valley College earned the Heart Women's Wrestler of the Week award.

Whetzal earned a tech fall win against the University of St. Mary's Maci Peaerson last week, by a score of 12-0. The Vikings defeated No. 15 ranked USM, 21-20, in the dual.
