No. 2 Grand View Captures Fifth-Straight Heart Women's Wrestling Conference Championship
For the fifth-straight season, No. 2 nationally ranked Grand View University captured the Heart of America Athletic Conference Women's Wrestling Conference Championship on Saturday afternoon, on the campus of William Penn University.
The Vikings collected 192 total points, defeating second-place No. 3 ranked William Penn, who earned 173 points. Grand View finished in first-place in four brackets.
Wrestlers that placed in first, second or third in their respective weight classes also earned Heart All-Conference honors, with a first-place finish a wrestler earned First Team All-Conference, for second-place a wrestler earned Second Team All-Conference and for a third-place finish a wrestler earned Honorable Mention All-Conference.
The conference also handed out some hardware on Saturday, as the following award winners were announced.
