Grand View Sweeps Heart Runner of the Week Honors for Second Time in 2022

For the second time this season, Morgan Lawson and Sam Mickleson of the Grand View University cross country program, swept the Heart of America Athletic Conference Weekly Awards.

Lawson ran a personal best time of 18:02 in the 5K race at the Dordt Holiday Inn Express to capture the Heart Women's Cross Country Runner of the Week award. She finished in first place, ahead of 153 total competitors.

Mickelson broke the Grand View school record with his time of 24:29 and had an average mile time of 4:56.

He placed 4^th in the 8K, in a field of 164 total runners. The Grand View duo also won these awards back on September 26.
