Delaney Straus Earns Second-Straight Women’s Cross Country Runner of the Week, D’Artagnon Beaver Earns Men’s Runner of the Week

The Heart of America Athletic Conference announced its Heart Men's and Women's Cross Country Runner of the Week awards on Monday afternoon.

Culver-Stockton College's Delaney Straus won the Heart Women's Runner of the Week award for the second-straight week, while D'Artagnon Beaver of William Penn University earned his first Heart Men's Runner of the Week of 2024.

Straus competed at the Central Invitational last Saturday and placed sixth in the 5K race in a time of 19:47. The event featured 84 total runners.

Beaver broke the programs school record 6K time at the Central Invitational on Saturday in a time of 19:10.

The senior placed third overall in a race that featured 100 runners.
