Final Heart Cross Country Runner of the Week Awards of the Season Announced

The Heart of America Athletic Conference announced its final Heart Men's and Women's Cross Country Runner of the Week awards, presented by BoxOut of the season on Monday.

Abby Knepper of Mount Mercy University earned the Heart Women's Runner of the Week award, while D'Artagnon Beaver of William Penn captured his fourth Heart Men's Runner of the Week award of 2024.

Knepper placed 16^th overall at the Doane Blazing Tiger NAIA Classic last week, with a time of 22:33 in the 6K race.

The sophomore competed against 308 total runners and led the No. 19 ranked Mustangs to a seventh-place team finish.

Beaver also competed at the Doane Blazing Tiger NAIA Classic last week and finished the 8K in 13^th place out of 339 runners with his time of 24:52.
