2021 Men's Tennis Unaffiliated Grouping Awards Announced

BLUE SPRINGS, Mo. - The 2021 men's tennis unaffiliated grouping awards have been announced after the conclusion of the Heart of America/AMC/Sonner Championship event.

No. 22 William Woods won the event with a 4-0 victory over Missouri Valley in the finals. William Wood's Patrick Shelepov was selected as the Player of the Year while also being named a 1st Team All-Conference selection for both singles and doubles. William Woods had a total of six individuals and three doubles duos tabbed as All-Conference honorees.

Other individuals landing on the 1st Team All-Conference list for singles were Ben Grumley (William Woods), Jacopo Sottocornola (Missouri Valley), Christian Barbieri (Grand View), Hudson Dick (John Brown), and Milos Vuckovic (Missouri Baptist). For doubles, Grumley/Shelepov (William Woods), Sottocornola/Francesco Carrati (Missouri Valley), and Alvaro Montijano/Logan Mathies (UHSP) were selected as 1st Team award winners.
